SC Dance Company Competition Team
Our award-winning Competition Team represents the heart of SC Dance Company, showcasing the talent, dedication, and passion of our dancers. In the 2025 regional competition season, our team consistently placed in the Top Three and proudly qualified for Nationals, reflecting the hard work of our dancers and instructors.
This year, we are proud to feature three teams—Seniors, Juniors, and Minis, spanning ages 6–16. Each team trains in multiple styles, develops performance excellence, and learns the value of teamwork and commitment both on and off the stage.
In addition, our Apprentice Program serves as a bridge for dancers eager to grow into future company members. Apprentices train alongside the teams, gaining valuable experience and building the skills needed for success in competitive dance.

What To Expect
- Intensive Training: Participate in regular rehearsals that focus on technique,
choreography, and performance quality across various styles, including jazz,
ballet, lyrical, hip hop, and more.
- Skill Development: Work with experienced instructors to improve your
technique, flexibility, strength, and stage presence, preparing you for competitive
routines.
- Team Collaboration: Build strong bonds with fellow dancers as you work
together to create captivating routines that showcase your collective talent and
creativity.
- Competition Experience: Gain valuable experience performing at competitions,
where will have the opportunity to showcase your hard work and talent on
stage.
- Performance Opportunities: Participate in community events, showcases, and
competitions throughout the year, allowing you to shine in front of diverse
audiences.
Our supportive and motivated environment encourages personal growth and fosters a

Ages: Varies by team level
Minis: 1st-5th grade
Juniors/Seniors: 6th-12th grade
